Burcu Yaşar joined Trendyol in 2019 and is currently the Chief of Staff to Company President. She previously oversaw the establishment of the Marketplace function as well as the sale of Trendyol products on over 90 partner platforms around the world.

Before joining Trendyol, Burcu held leadership positions in e-commerce, strategy and business development domains at various companies such as Teknosa, Avon and Adidas. She began her career working in the sales and business development department of Procter & Gamble and co-founded the startup Grupanya in 2010.

Burcu has a bachelor’s degree in political science and public administration from Ankara University Faculty of Political Science and an executive MBA from Sabancı University. She spent around 2.5 years living in London where she took language courses and attended training programs on marketing and import and export.
